SCHEME OF EXAMINATION
Class XI examination shall be conducted internally by the school themselves while Class XII examination shall be conducted according to the following scheme.
a)    The Board shall conduct examination in all subjects except General Studies,Work Experience, Physical and Health Education which will be assessed internally by the school.
b)    In all subjects examined by the Board a student will be given one paper each carrying 100 marks for 3 hours. However, in subjects requiring practical examination there will be a theory paper and a practical examination as required in the syllabi and courses.

c)     In works Experience,General Studies and Physical and Healtheducation,cumulative records of students achievements and progress will be maintained.

PASS CRITERIA
1.    A candidate will be eligible to get the Pass Certificate of the board,if he gets a grade higher than E in all subjects of internal assessments unless he is exempted.
2.    In order to be declared as having Passed the examination a candidate shall obtain 33% marks in all the five subjects of external exam.For subjects involving theory and practical a candidate has to obtain 33% marks separately for each component,as well as in aggregate.
3.    No overall division/distinction shall be awarded.

ELIGIBILITY FOR COMPARTMENT
A candidate who fails in one subject will be eligible for Compartment Examination.
Compartment Examination for Senior School Certificate Examination.
A candidate placed in compartment may reappear at compartment examination to be held in July/August the same year and may avail himself of second chance in March/April and third chance in July/August of next year.Further he may avail of fourth chance in March/April and fifth chance in July/August of the subsequentnext year. .The candidate will be declared” Pass provided he qualifies the compartment subject in which he had failed.
A candidate who does not appear or fails at one or all three chances of compartment shall be treated to have failed in the examination and shall be required to reappear in all the subjects at the subsequent annual examination of the Board as per syllabi and courses laid down for the Examination concerned in order to pass the examination. The candidate’s practical marks/internal  assessment marks obtained in the Main examination will be carried over till the fifth chance compartment examination.
The candidate shall have the option to appear at the practical examination in the subjects involving practical or retain their previous marks in one more annual examination after the fifth chance compartment.
Pass criteria for Class XI
In order to be declared as having passed the class XI Examination a candidate shall obtain 33% marks in all subjects.The pass mark in each subject of the examination shall be 33%. In case of subjects involving practical work a candidate must obtain 33% marks in theory and 33% in practical separately in addition to 33% aggregate in order to qualify in the subject.

ASSESSMENT AND EXAMINATION
The CBSE has issued Circular No. Acad-05/2017 dated 31.01.2017 on the restoration of Board Examination for Class X and revised assessment structure and examination for class X from Academic Year 2017-18 onwards. This new scheme will bring the uniformity in the system of assessment and examination for classes IX and X in all the CBSE affiliated schools. To increase the confidence in the students to start preparing for class X Board Examination when they join the upper primary stage in class VI, the CBSE has decided to implement the uniform system of assessment, examination pattern and issue of report cards for classes VI to VIII also on the similar pattern.
The scheme for classes VI-VII has been designed on Term Assessment basis with gradual increase in the learning assessment as the students move forward. This would prepare the students to cover the whole syllabus of the academic year and face the challenge of class X Board examination, and would thus, ensure the ‘quality of education’.
Scholastic Area : The assessment structure and examination for classes VI to VIII have been prepared in view of the provisions of RTE-Act 2009 and comprises of two terms i.e. Term -1 and 2.
Co-Scholastic Activities (Classes VI - VII) : For the holistic development of the student, co-curricular activities in the following areas be carried out by the teachers and will be graded term-wise on a 3 point grading scale (A+ Outstanding, B+ Very Good and C = Fair). The aspect of regularity, sincerer participation, output and teamwork be the generic criteria for grading in the following coscholastic activities.
